Earning Grass Points
Grass Points can be earned in several ways. Currently, users can earn points by downloading and running the Grass desktop app, as well as referring new users.
Downloading and Running Grass
Every user who downloads and runs Grass starts earning points right away. While you browse the internet, Grass operates in the background, seamlessly tracking your contributions to the network through Grass Points. It’s that simple. Grass Points reflect your active role in the community and your contributions to the growth of the Grass ecosystem.
Referral Points
Referrals are another significant way to accumulate Grass Points. When you refer a friend and they download and run Grass, you earn additional points. Specifically, you will receive a 20% commission based on the points your referred friend earns in perpetuity.
But it doesn’t stop there. If your friend refers someone else, you will earn 10% of the points that the second-level referral earns. And if someone at the second level of your referral network refers another person, you will earn 5% of the points that the third-level referral earns. This cascading referral system allows you to earn points from the activity of users you indirectly brought into the Grass community.
