Earning Grass Points
Grass Points can be earned in several ways. Currently, users can earn points by downloading and running the Grass desktop app, as well as referring new users.
Downloading and Running Grass
Every user who downloads and runs Grass starts earning points right away. Your experience with Grass will be seamless, while you browse the internet, you accumulate points. It’s that simple. The points are a way of saying thank you for being an active part of our community and contributing to the growth of the Grass ecosystem.
Referral Points
Referrals are another significant way to earn Grass Points. When you refer a friend and they download and run Grass, you earn additional points. Specifically, you will receive a 20% commission based on the points your referred friend earns in perpetuity.
But it doesn’t stop there. If your friend refers someone else, you will earn 10% of the points that the second-level referral earns. And if someone at the second level of your referral network refers another person, you will earn 5% of the points that the third-level referral earns. This cascading referral system allows you to earn points from the activity of users you indirectly brought into the Grass community.
Viewing Your Points and Getting Your Referral Link
Every user will be rewarded for their Grass Points, and the method and timing will differ based on where you live. Users have been steadily accumulating Grass Points based on their activity as per the rules we’ve previously outlined.
